A two-day trip around Seoul

K-tour 2018. 4. 26. 09:00

Hello, this is the Korea National Souvenir Center.

I would like to leave with my parents and friends this weekend,

but it is difficult to meet the schedule because everyone is busy.

(T_T)

So when choosing a place to visit, I often feel a little concerned.

Why don't you go on a spring outing

not far from Seoul this weekend?

Today, the place I would like to recommend is

"the picnic site near Seoul in spring".

1. Gapyung

It is Gapyung that arrive in 1 hour by car from Seoul.

It's hard to find fresh air and open view near Seoul.

You can see it in Gapyung!

In particular, The Garden of Morningcalm in Gapyung is visited by many tourists all year around.

On a massive scale of 100,000 pyung, you can see about 5,000 plant species in one place.

Wht don't you look at the arboretums you've seen in many movies and dramas

since opening in 1996, and also drink fresh air?

2. Yangpyeong

From Dumulmeori to Yusuji Natural Ecology Park.

Yangpyeong is a place where beautiful natural scenery make travelers happy.

Yongmunsa Temple with a long history and various experience parks are also located here, making it a great place to travel!

Dumulmeori is a combination of two rivers, the Bukhan River flowing from Mt. Kumgang

and the Namhan River flowing from Geumdaebong in Jungseon,

making it one of Yangpyeong's popular tourist attractions.

3. Suwon

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Hwaseong HAenggung,

two of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, are must-see attractions.

You can see it in Suwon.

It is not only educational, but also a great place to enjoy spring picnic.

Suwon is also a great place to visit because it has good accessibility to Yongin,

where tourist attraction such as Everland and Korean Folk Village are located!

4. Yeoju

Located in the eastern and southern half of Gyeonggi-do, Yeoju is located near Yangpyeong, Wonju, Chungju, and Icheon, making it a perfect place to visit natural, cultural and restaurants.

You can also visit the Yeoju World Ceramic Livingware Gallery and Seonsan Art Museum,

and you can also hear about the history and tradition of the city at the Yeoju Museum.

So far, it has found out about the areas surrounding Seoul!

I was also thinking about where to go this weekend,

but I should visit Yangpyeong!

Hello, this is the Korea National Souvenir Center.

When i think of each city, there is a landmark that is naturally associated with it!

Today, I would like to introduce a landmark that comes to mind when I think of Seoul.

Let's find out about it with the Korea National Souvenir Center in Korea and go to Seoul together!

(๑•̀ㅅ•́)و✧

  1. N Seoul Tower

Namsan N Seoul Tower, the symbol of Seoul.

It is a must-see attraction for foreign tourists

and one of the most popular dating courses for couples.

Especially after sunset, you can see the night view of Seoul at a glance.

It is also close to Myeong-dong and Itaewon, so it is a good place to look around together.

  2. Lotte World Tower

The second place is Lotte World Tower, the tallest building in Korea.

The 123rd floor, 555-meter high, consists of residential, office, lodging, tourism, and shopping.

It is a complex building with a wide range of functions.

Especially, at Lotte World Tower Seoul Sky,

you can enjoy fantastic views and night views of Seoul at a height of 500 meters.

We recommend it more because it is lined with various fun things to enjoy

such as Art Gallary, Lotte World, and Aquarium.

  3. Seoul Plaza

The third place I'd like to introduce you is Seoul Plaza,

a large garden located in the heart of downtown Seoul, and the setting of a historical event that marks a milestone in modern Korean history.

and the setting of a historical event that marks a milestone in modern Korean history.

As there is fountain on one side of Seoul Plaza,

cool water from the river can cool down the people's heat during the summer

and a skating rink can be installed on one side of the plaza

during the winter to give citizens pleasant memories.

  4. 63 Building

Fourth, the landmark of Seoul is 63 Building.

63 Square in Yeouido is a 60-story, 3-story basement and is located at a height of 245m.

It's also called Seoul's symbolic tourist attraction.

Since you are facing Namsan Mountain, Bukaksan Mountain, and Gwanak Moutain from Hangang River, you can aslo see beautiful night views.

  5. Gwanghwamun

This is Gwanghwamun, the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The king's gate is the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, the legal palace of Joseon,

so the scale and the scene are very grand and luxurous.

Gyeongbokgung Palace, the best palace in Joseon Dynasty, is also located in this place,

so it is a popular tourist attraction in Korea.

When you stand in front of Gwanghwamun,

you will be surprised and marveled at the grandeur of gate.

  6. Banpo Bridge

The sixth landmark I will introduce you to is the Banpo Bridge!

It is said to create the best night view in the Hangang River.

I heard it'll be working by June, so make sure you come see it.

You'll feel a different beauty than you would on video!

  7. Cheonggyecheon

Cheonggyecheon is a stream

that runs on the border between Jongno-gu and Jung-gu in downtown Seoul.

You'll have to look around the section.

It is a fascination place to feel nature in the middle of a stuffy, polluted city center,

so I think it is a must-see attraction for anyone traveling through Seoul!!

  8. Insadong

     & Korea National Souvenir Center

Insadong is a popular place to see Korea National Souvenir Center at glance.

Here we can see not only foreign friends present, but also Korean traditional crafts and ceramics.

If you com to Insadong, make sure you visit there!

How about 8 landmark sites in Seoul that you've learned together?

I recommend taking a walk at the landmark in Seoul this weekend!

RECOMMEND THE HEALING COURSE IN GYEONGJU SPRING : TOURIST SITE

1. Kkoochgilman geol-eusaeu(꽃길만 걸으새우)

The first restaurant is Koochgilman geol-eusaeu, which is located in Hwangridan-gil.

We ordered soy sauce shrimp rice, chili shrimp, and garlic shrimp pizza.

(and beer(very important))

It was really delicious.

Especially, make sure to eat soy sauce shrimp rice and chili shrimp!

It goes very well with beer.

ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ*)

2. STAIRS(계단)

This is the place where I came out of the Koochgilman geol-eusaeu for a cup of coffee!

Emotional interior inside the clean outer space of a traditional Korean house

There are from basement level 1 to 2!

I was located on the second floor, which is quiet. (˙▾˙)

I ordered Americano, Herbal tea, Ice chocolate latte, and Madeleine!

The atmosphere is awesome.

Especially, Ice chocolate latte is made of crushed chocolate. ଘ(੭ˊ꒳ˋ)੭✧

It's a great place to have a nice drink with your friends, chat and rest.

3. KARIBU(카리부)

It is a pizza restaurant on the Hwangridan-gil!

The exterior design of a Traditional Korean House and cute interior design are key points!

The restaurant has big windows and you can eat on the Hwangridan-gil,

so it has a more atmosphere.

The menu consists of a pizza, a simple side menu, and drinks.

I ordered cheese, pepperoni ha;f-and-half pizza, and French fires!

It looks delicious first, doesn't it?

It was really delicious.

If you decide to travel to Gyeongju

after reading the recommendation from the Korea National Souvenir Center, I will be very proud..!

So, I have been to Gyeongju, a beautiful Korean city where history and modern times coexist.

A tourist site in Gyeonju! Would you like to join me?

                    Daereungwon

The first tourist site is the Daereungwon, also known as Cheonmachong.

Cheonmado is a antique painting a flying a horse.

The ancient tomb of Cheonmado is called Cheonmachong!

Looking at the magnificent and beautiful ancient tombs including Cheonmachong

and the Royal Tomb of King Mitsu, makes it feel like a time consuming the first time in the early days of the Silla Dynasty!

2,000 KRW for adults

1,200 KRW for teens and soldiers

Hwangridan-gil is very close to Daereungwon!

Daereungwon is the past, you can meet the present on Hwangridan-gil!

Hwangnamdong's back alley has been remodeled into an old street.

It's the hottest place in Gyeongju.

There were a lot of really pretty accessory shop.

Cheomseongdae, Donggung and Wolji (Anapji)

Cheomseongdae made during the reign of Queen Seonduk of Silla and is still standing!

Just like Cheomseong, which means "look up at the stars,"

it was built for astronomical observations!

Recently, it has been suggested that the architecture is related to astrology.

When the lights are lit at night, they are very pretty!

Donggung and Wolji are just a short walk from Cheomseongdae.

Anapji, which presents the splendor of royal culture during the Unified Silla Period,

which combines rich imagination and artistic skills.

It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the warm weather, don't you go on a picnic?
If you go on a picnic, How about the Han River!

Let me introduce you to the hot place for spring picnic in Hangang River.

1. Han River Night Market

Now established as one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hangang River,
Seoul Night Tokebi Night Market  is a must-see for anyone who visits the Han River at night.
Not only can you see the beautiful night view of Seoul in harmony with Hangang River,
but you can also sell handcrafted products at Plait Market and enjoy delicious foods
in a variety of food trucks!

Starting from today, the night market for goblins was held. This year, it will be held in Yeouido, DDP Cheongyechon Stream, and Banpo Island.

2. Banpo Bridge

Have you ever seen " The Moon Rainbow Fountain " at Banpo Bridge in Hangang Park in Seoul?
I've seen it on Facebook every time that it runs Banpo Bridge's from April 1st to June.

On weekdays, it runs four times until noon, 8:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9:00 p.m., and on weekends, it runs five times at 7:30 p.m. to 30 minutes.

3. Seorae Island

Isn't it a rape flower that comes to mind first when you think of Spring?
In spring, yellow rape flowers fill the island of Seorae. Seorae Island is located in Banpo Han River District! How nice it is to see flowers and take a shot of your life!

I think it's the perfect spring picnic place.
For your information, Seorae Island holds a rape flower festival in mid-May every year!

It is spring that is exciting to hear. I think spring is too short for me.

Hello, this is Korea National Souvenir Center.

Today I would like to introduce you to a cherry blossom festival site

which is also fantastic at night!

1. Seoul N-Tower

It is always the right night tour of Seoul Tower.

Especially, the night tour of the spring when cherry blossoms are in full bloom is unforgettable.

Why don't you use cable cars and climb up to the Seoul Tower Observatory

to enjoy cherry blossom viewing with the foreground of Seoul?

2. Children's Grand Park

Children's Grand Park is the most popular cherry blossom site among them.

Ride the rides, go to the zoo, and finally, cherry blossom!
It is said that the opening hours of the main gate, the back gate, the main entrance gate,
and the eastern gate are all said to be until 10 p.m.

Especially, it is the best time to see the night cherry blossom in the Children's Grand Park from the first week of April. Children's Grand Park is said to have more zoo side than amusement park!

3. Daegu Eworld

It is this world starlight cherry blossom festival that has arrived at 7 times this year.
Cherry Blossom and starlight Festival are combined
to show their beauty not only during the day but also at night.

It is said that it is surrounded by cherry trees three times more than Yeouido.

In particular, the E-World's cherry blossoms are said to be re-created as cherry blossoms
with bright lights at night! I really want to go there.

I want to go see cherry blossoms with my loved ones as soon as possible.

When do you go to see the cherry blossoms?

I'm curious about your story XD

Hello, this is the Korea National Souvenir Center.

These days, more and more people are taking weekend trips.

For these people, today we will introduce domestic cable cars.

The cable cars can be easily elevated and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
And also see the view during the ride, making it a fun trip on its own.

Let's find out about the famous cable cars together!

1. Namsan Cable Cars

Namsan Cable Cars will come to mind first when we hear about cable cars in Korea.

It is located in Seoul at the same time as the easiest place to get access to cable cars,
so you can come back and forth without any stress on the streets.

As you may know, Namsan Seoul Tower is a great place
to see the colorful night views of Seoul and the whole city.

I also want to visit after a long time.

2. Tongyeong Cable Cars

My second destination is Tongyeong.
Tongyoung's cable cars provide a glimpse of the beauty of Hallyesudo and Tongyeong Port.

These days, it is loved by many people as it is introduced

to various media such as TV and news programs.

I think it's better because I can feel the beauty of the sea and mountain at the same time.

There are 47 gondolas that can carry up to eight people.
So it'll be a little easier and quicker to use it.

3. Deokyu Mt. Cable Cars

I hate mountain climbing, but I love to see the mountain scenery.
Is there anyone like me?

This is a cable car tour for them.
It is the Deokyu mt. cable car.

If you ride the Deokyu mt. cable car,

you can easily reach the maximum peak of Duckyusan Mountain.

Duckyusan Mountain is designated as a national park and has a beautiful natural environment.

Why don't you try leaving?

4. Seorak's Cable Cars

Mt. Seorak's cable cars start at National Park.

After arriving at the top of Gwangeumseong Fortress by cable car,
if you walk along the road for about 10 minutes, you will be able to see the mountain's vast scenery and the grand looking Ulsan rocks.

As it is said that you can see the Sinheungsa built in the mid-sixth century and the Tongildaejae built in 1987, don't you think it is a cable car you should try?

The weather is getting warmer.
Why don't you take a trip?

I think we can forget about the hard times and make new memories.
Let's go for a famous cable car ride in Korea with family, lovers, and friends!

Hello, this is Korea National Souvenir Center in Insa-dong, Seoul.

As it is getting warmer,

I would like to chat and drink some tea with my friends.

So today, I'm Back with 'Secret Garden(비밀정원)' review, Insa-dong's Traditional Tea House!

Among the traditional tea houses in Insa-dong,

I was thinking about where to introduce it this time.

I went to a traditional tea house with a large garden in the city center!!

It was located on Main Street in Insa-dong

so I had no trouble finding it.

Plus, it is close to the traditional tea house 'Jidaebang(지대방)' reviewed earlier!!

KOREA NATIONAL SOUVENIR CENTER STAFF RECOMMENDED :

INSA-DONG TRADITIONAL TEA HOUSE

There is a garden on the second floor..?

I don't think the cafe was on the second floor

because of the stereotype that the garden would normally be on the first floor.

But the building is so big that I could find it soon :)

First of all, look around Secret Garden(비밀정원)'s garden!!!

The garden was so beautiful that I lost my attention.

It would be perfect to sit when I'm free!

The lights are on at night so there must be a perfect atmosphere.

One of the walls is made of big glass,

Insa-dong's main street  just came at a glance.

I think it would be a lot of fun to watch people!

At the end of the tour, I took the inside view of the Secret garden

(The day I went was a little chilly, so I sat inside.)

As well as traditional tea

From ice cream and slushee, that can be enjoyed easily by young friends,

From a simple meal to a traditional meal!!

It seems to be a place where people of all ages can enjoy eating.

I ordered '국화차(chrysanthemum tea)'와 '오미자빙수(Omija ice cream)'.

Gave me Korean traditional snack '한과' for free.

It goes well with the drink.

Aren't both menus so colorful?

'Omija ice cream' has strawberries and berries on top of it,

so it is delicious to chew!!!

Finish with warm chrysanthemum tea!!

I can feel the characteristic aroma of chrysanthemum tea.

First of all, give me a thermos bottle of warm water.

It was great to be able to squeeze it of many times!

I finished chrysanthemum tea neatly!

Since they also sell traditional liquor,

it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it at a traditional cafe!!

When you visit Insa-dong,

How about to stop by the 'Secret Garden' and Korea National Souvenir Center XD

Hello, this is the Korea National Souvenir Center.

As We keep busy every day, I think the time is ticking away fast.

Why don't you go back to the past along the old railroad tracks with your own memories?

Let's share our memories with Old railroad tracks,
and let's also experience the old school uniforms !!!.

1. Gyeongam-dong Railroad.

It is a railroad town in Gunsan Gyeongam-dong.
Gyeongam-dong Railroad Line is located in 14, Gyeonchon 4-gil, Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do.

The railroad town of Gyeongam-dong, Gunsan, is 400 meters apart from Jinpo.
If you step into the alley across from Gunsan Emart, the railroad is located right across from you.

They also sell snacks, popsticks, and Apollo that you could buy on old fortune cookies, and rent old school uniforms.  It would be great as a dating course for lovers.

2. Gyeongeul Railroad.

There is a resting place around Hongdae. It is the GyeongeuI Railroad Line.
Seoul-Incheon Railway has a long range of streets,
so there are many things to see and enjoy using the railroad tracks.

Yeontral Park, located near Yeonnam-dong,
and the GyeongeuI Book Fair are located across from it.

You can see many buildings that reproduce the old train cars!
In the train shaped building, we can see and buy books.

It looks like a place that reminds you of the past with a different appearance from Gunsan Gyeongam-dong Railway.

3. Imhangsun Railroad.

The Imhangsun Line, which crosses Samhokcheon Stream from Masan Station,
has long been torn down.

It is said that the railroad started in front of Seokjeon Cross-Story Apartment in Seokjeon-dong
and is now used as a walking trail.

Imhangsun Line was opened in 1905 and was carrying freight from Masan Port Pier until the 80s. Since 2011, only weeds have been plentiful.

It is now said that the railroad tracks were laid with stone to create bike paths and walking paths, and both sides of the tracks are planted with trees and flowers
so that people and tourists can enjoy them.

And this is what we call the Imhangsun Greenway.

Looking at the old railroad tracks, don't you remember the memories
that were hidden on one side of the past?

Although the lines are closed, I think they are welcoming us in their own way.
