Hello, this is the Korea National Souvenir Center.

These day, micro dust is a big problem.

So, today, I would like to introduce some plants

that are good for house air purification.

1. Sanseveria

Sanseveria is one of NASA's most popular air purification plants.
In Sanseveria, it's good to have it in your bedroom because the plant itself has anions.

Since it is a plant that makes its living by opening a pore at night,
it is said to release carbon dioxide and water using its respiratory processes to absorb dust particles and bad carbon dioxide in the house.

2. Areka Palm

We have Areka Palm, which is the number 1 air purification plant in NASA's history.
Tobacco smoke can remove all toxic substances from the indoor air.

Besides air purification, it also acts as a natural humidifier.
I'll buy it on my way home today.

3. Monstera

It's not a NASA air-purified plant like the ones I described earlier.
It is a plant that is known to be good for air purification.

It is capable of controlling indoor humidity, removing carbon monoxide,
removing toxic indoor materials, and blocking electromagnetic waves.

4.Bird of paradise flower

The last plant I want to talk about is the playworm.
It should be kept out of the direct sunlight, well ventilated
and stay in a moderately sunny place.

It is said to be an air cleaner if you put it indoors
because of its high rate of production and fine dust absorption.

These days, when micro dust is making you nervous,
why don't you put air quality plants in your home?

It will be good for my body and my family.

Hello!

It's Korea National Souvenir Center :)

We're back to the 'What is it for?' series!

We'll give you a quiz right away!!

What is this..?

What is this for?

Let's take it step by step!

Gold from the wrapping..!!

It looks so luxury.

You don't feel it yet, do you? :-)

Let's open the lid.

I see.. a beautiful wood and shining with gold..

Something must be important!!

Hexagon.. One to five dots on each side...

Is it ornament?

But what are the eight objects next to it???

What?! This pattern is familiar!

Now do you know the answer?

The Joseon traditional board game during the Korean holidays

This is the fun Yut game!

Introduce the luxurious and unique Yut game set

that is sold at the Korea National Souvenir Center.

HANYUT is a Yut game set

that was inspired from the Joseon traditional board game of Seunggyeongdo

and reinterpreted the existing four Yut Garak with one Yut stick!

The stick use a delicate, solid piece of straw.

Beautiful colored brass and red copper were combined in harmony using inlaid technique.

It is also said that the wood is made of eco-friendly oil.

Metal materials will be more vintage as time goes by!

Since the stick and the pieces are made up of hexagonal and circular shapes,

you can feel the aesthetics and formative characteristics.

Wait here!

Usually, Yut sticks are composed of four pieces.

HANYUT has one especially thick, but only light.

Don't you wonder how do you divide 'Do, Gae, Gul, Yut, Mo'?

If you throw a Yut stick and the side that has five circles will be 'Mo'

A long circle is a single backwards movement, 'Backdo'.

Another unique feature of HANYUT is

its low probability of having a chance to throw twice when the stick is placed.

Anyone can enjoy these rules

because this is the same as Yut game we know about.

Visit the Korea National Souvenir Center

to see the traditional board game, the beautiful and unique 'HANYUT'!

Hello, this is Korea National Souvenir Center in Insa-dong, Seoul.

As it is getting warmer,

I would like to chat and drink some tea with my friends.

So today, I'm Back with 'Secret Garden(비밀정원)' review, Insa-dong's Traditional Tea House!

Among the traditional tea houses in Insa-dong,

I was thinking about where to introduce it this time.

I went to a traditional tea house with a large garden in the city center!!

It was located on Main Street in Insa-dong

so I had no trouble finding it.

Plus, it is close to the traditional tea house 'Jidaebang(지대방)' reviewed earlier!!

KOREA NATIONAL SOUVENIR CENTER STAFF RECOMMENDED :

INSA-DONG TRADITIONAL TEA HOUSE

There is a garden on the second floor..?

I don't think the cafe was on the second floor

because of the stereotype that the garden would normally be on the first floor.

But the building is so big that I could find it soon :)

First of all, look around Secret Garden(비밀정원)'s garden!!!

The garden was so beautiful that I lost my attention.

It would be perfect to sit when I'm free!

The lights are on at night so there must be a perfect atmosphere.

One of the walls is made of big glass,

Insa-dong's main street  just came at a glance.

I think it would be a lot of fun to watch people!

At the end of the tour, I took the inside view of the Secret garden

(The day I went was a little chilly, so I sat inside.)

As well as traditional tea

From ice cream and slushee, that can be enjoyed easily by young friends,

From a simple meal to a traditional meal!!

It seems to be a place where people of all ages can enjoy eating.

I ordered '국화차(chrysanthemum tea)'와 '오미자빙수(Omija ice cream)'.

Gave me Korean traditional snack '한과' for free.

It goes well with the drink.

Aren't both menus so colorful?

'Omija ice cream' has strawberries and berries on top of it,

so it is delicious to chew!!!

Finish with warm chrysanthemum tea!!

I can feel the characteristic aroma of chrysanthemum tea.

First of all, give me a thermos bottle of warm water.

It was great to be able to squeeze it of many times!

I finished chrysanthemum tea neatly!

Since they also sell traditional liquor,

it wouldn't be a bad idea to try it at a traditional cafe!!

When you visit Insa-dong,

How about to stop by the 'Secret Garden' and Korea National Souvenir Center XD

" Colorful Korea Smartphone battery "

I must tell about its design.
It is designed with traditional Korean folk tales and also is a very practical pruduct.

Therefore it is a great souvenir of Korea trip.

It can use a battery with capacity of 5000mAh.
So we don't have to charging it for two days !!!!

It can also be used on all smart devices that use five and eight pins.
Android Phone, also Iphone can use this item together.

The best part is that it is made in a variety of designs.
In other store, you can see supplementary battery only drawing simple characters
or designed in a single color.

But this supplementary battery  has  4 different designs!!!!

If you've been worried about designing supplementary batteries,
or if you've ever tried to buy one,

Hello, this is the Korea National Souvenir Center.

As We keep busy every day, I think the time is ticking away fast.

Why don't you go back to the past along the old railroad tracks with your own memories?

Let's share our memories with Old railroad tracks,
and let's also experience the old school uniforms !!!.

1. Gyeongam-dong Railroad.

It is a railroad town in Gunsan Gyeongam-dong.
Gyeongam-dong Railroad Line is located in 14, Gyeonchon 4-gil, Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do.

The railroad town of Gyeongam-dong, Gunsan, is 400 meters apart from Jinpo.
If you step into the alley across from Gunsan Emart, the railroad is located right across from you.

They also sell snacks, popsticks, and Apollo that you could buy on old fortune cookies, and rent old school uniforms.  It would be great as a dating course for lovers.

2. Gyeongeul Railroad.

There is a resting place around Hongdae. It is the GyeongeuI Railroad Line.
Seoul-Incheon Railway has a long range of streets,
so there are many things to see and enjoy using the railroad tracks.

Yeontral Park, located near Yeonnam-dong,
and the GyeongeuI Book Fair are located across from it.

You can see many buildings that reproduce the old train cars!
In the train shaped building, we can see and buy books.

It looks like a place that reminds you of the past with a different appearance from Gunsan Gyeongam-dong Railway.

3. Imhangsun Railroad.

The Imhangsun Line, which crosses Samhokcheon Stream from Masan Station,
has long been torn down.

It is said that the railroad started in front of Seokjeon Cross-Story Apartment in Seokjeon-dong
and is now used as a walking trail.

Imhangsun Line was opened in 1905 and was carrying freight from Masan Port Pier until the 80s. Since 2011, only weeds have been plentiful.

It is now said that the railroad tracks were laid with stone to create bike paths and walking paths, and both sides of the tracks are planted with trees and flowers
so that people and tourists can enjoy them.

And this is what we call the Imhangsun Greenway.

Looking at the old railroad tracks, don't you remember the memories
that were hidden on one side of the past?

Although the lines are closed, I think they are welcoming us in their own way.

Hello, this is the Korea National Souvenir Center.

Do you know what April 1 is?

Yes! It is April Fool's Day.

Today, with the history of April Fool's Day,
we'll learn about the April Fool's Day joke that you can use at work!

Are you ready?

1. What is April fool's day?

April Fools' Day (sometimes called All Fools' Day) is an annual celebration in some European
and Western
ountries commemorated on April 1 by playing practical jokes.

The jokes and their victims are called April fools. People playing April Fool jokes often expose their prank by shouting "April fool" at the unfortunate victim

(from. Wiki)

2. Origin of April fool's day!

In the Middle Ages, New Year's Day was celebrated on March 25 in most European towns.
In some areas of France, New Year's was a week-long holiday ending on April 1.
Some writers suggest that April Fools' originated because those who celebrated on January 1 made fun of those who celebrated on other dates.

The use of January 1 as New Year's Day was common in France by the mid-16th century and this date was adopted officially in 1564 by the Edict of Roussillon.

In the Netherlands, the origin of April Fools' Day is often attributed to the Dutch victory at Brielle in 1572, where the Spanish Duke Álvarez de Toledo was defeated.

"Op 1 april verloor Alva zijn bril." is a Dutch proverb, which can be translated to: "On the first of April, Alva lost his glasses."

In this case, the glasses ("bril" in Dutch) serve as a metaphor for Brielle. This theory, however, provides no explanation for the international celebration of April Fools' Day.

3. April Fools ' Day joke

1. Pastum toilet paper

First, the April Fools ' Day joke recommendation is toilet paper crap.

Preparation : Water and toilet paper

1) Put a tissue seam in water.
2) Hand makes main body water poop.
3) Throw it on the manager or manager's chair secretly.
4) He pretends not to know.

2. Paper cockroach

Second, the April Fools ' Day joke recommendation is a paper cockroach.

Preparation : Paper, Pen and Scissors

1) Draw cockroach on paper.
2) Cut it according to the shape (snip-slops).
3) Color it with a pen.
4) Throw it while you are away.

3. Mint taste Oreo cookies

The last prank is the Oreo cookie.

Preparation:Oreo Cougie, Toothpaste

1) Remove the Oreo cookie fillings.
2) Squeeze the toothpaste instead of cream.
3) Natural to the other person
" Would you like to eat Oreo? "

I'm very curious to know what kind of a joke you've prepared.

I wish you have a more enjoyable April Fools ' Day with a variety of bright ideas
than us XD

For those of you who aren't ready yet, why don't you take a look at the ideas prepared by us??

Seoul is a particularly good city to take a walk in

The road from Anguk Station to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art(MMCA)

is also called  Gamgodang-gil .

Gamgodang-gil is a place filled with Korean landscapes.

It even became a popular filming location for the drama "또오해영"!!

It is composed of stone-wall streets,

so it is very beautiful.

As you walk down the street, you will come to this beautiful flower house!!

I think it's a great place to have a good mood since there is often busking. ♪(´ε` )

Gyongbokgung Palace and MMCA are located 10 minutes away on foot,

In honor of the patriots' dedication to the country and learning about the importance of peace

through the honnors of the war,

it has served as a seal of national defense security education.

There are prominent figures of the UN soldiers who died during the Korean War and the soldiers.

It would be a good trip to visit the exhibits in honor of the war dead.

Besides, it's free!!!
